Species Name: Zuphiues Canis
Life Span: 135 decades. (1350 years.)
Description: Light brown or Tan with a slightly lighter underbelly. Can vary from Dark and Light blue, Reddish brown, and a Golden color. Front paws are always a little darker than the main fur color, but hind paws are a reddish color, mainly.A moonshaped crescent on right side ear, and a sun like patch, the same color as the front paws, on the left.
Methods of Communtcation: Barks, Growls, Whines,Howls, and sharp, earsplitting whistles. (see below*)
Specialties: Ears are suseptable to extreme cold and are hypsesensitive to sounds, emotion, and heat. Ear warmers act as a barrier as to not let the ears be overloaded. Prefer living in warm areas near lakes and rivers. Eyes are usually Green, Blue, or Brown rimmed with a slightly lighter shade of said color(s).
Abilities: Can run up to 65 mph and can stop fairly quickly. Can use tail in battle as it is thick with heavy fur.
Defensive Manuevuers: Sharp canines and inscisors, a-bit-over-average length claws; Territorial.
Form of Mating and producing offspring*: Mammal (Mate every 10 years; usually 2-3 pups; Gestation Period lasts 2 months; Mate for life.)
Realted closely to: Wolves and descendents, Large sized cats, and one gene from Rabbits (ears).
